One week into Daylight Savings, and I am still adjusting. Last week, I completed an out of town assignment. It went well, but I don't like traveling for work. Too many opportunities for problems. The trip started with our flight being delayed for two hours. I don't do stress well. Fortunately, things worked out fine, but I still prefer not to travel for work.
My writing also suffered. I did remain faithful to my commitment to #NaNoWriMo2019. The amount of writing decreased, but I accomplished something each day.
The NaNoWriMo website is a little confusing. I managed to figure out how to enter my daily writing totals. The Buddies hasn't worked out too well. I still communicate with other writers mainly through Twitter. Apparently, from what I read, other people are also experiencing problems with the NaNoWriMo website, https://nanowrimo.org/. I encourage writers to still use the website. The statistics do help. Not having used the site previously, I am not as bothered by the changes as other users.
My mystery manuscript, Write Club, is on the back burner. I have to give a shout out to Mia and Kellye. Though I wasn't picked as their mentor for #PitchWars, http://pitchwars.org/new-start-here/, I was rewarded with some very helpful tips. Thank you again Mia and Kellye. Y'all are awesome! Maybe next time.
My new manuscript, Family, Monsters and Zaubers, is coming along. It is a revision of Third Shift. I am liking it very much. It incorporates all the advice I have received from beta readers and others. I doubt it will be ready for #PitMad in December, so I'll probably sit that one out. Hope to be prepared for querying in Spring 2020.

I've procrastinated long enough. Happy writing friends. Hope to see you Saturday. Be well.
