Racial healing circle
This morning I attended a racial healing program led by my good friend, Dr. Stacie Walton. She recently started a business on cultural literacy. A dynamic and necessary topic in our present national climate.
Still working on edits for my second manuscript. I haven't found an agent for Third Shift yet. Looking at publishers too. Not discouraged, just ready. Ready to move on to the next stage in my writing journey.
While riding the train home yesterday, a great idea came to me for a fourth manuscript. I actually wrote the first chapter when I got home. Crazy - right. Can't help it.
The problem is that I don't have enough time to write. I work all day, then come home and write for at least an hour each evening. It's exhausting, and exhilarating at the same time. I need to finish the second manuscript though before moving onto the third - or fourth. Hopefully, my love for the concepts won't diminish. I'm into the editing stage, which goes a little faster than the initial writing.
The third and fourth manuscripts would be stand alone novels, not series.
The racial healing program gave me fresh insight to take with me into the next week. I wish you all well in your writing journey.
